Pinellia​, also known as Diwen, Shoutian, etc., belongs to Tiannan Xingmu. It is widely distributed in the Yangtze River Basin of China, as well as in Northeast and North China. Pinellia is a medicinal plant, which has the functions of drying dampness and resolving phlegm, reducing inversion and relieving vomiting, and for reducing boils and swelling.
